2-3/4 Inch x 16 Inch P180C Grit Abrasive Sheet

A grade range from P80 to P800 along with durable film backing make the Gold Abrasive Sheet 236U ideal for a wide range of hand sanding and machine sanding projects from primer sanding to rough featheredging, scratch refinement on bare metal, paint removal around damaged areas and more. It provides a sharp cut – more aggressive than a comparable closed coat abrasive of the same grade – without as much dust accumulating on the sheet. The sheet is suitable for a variety of substrates including clear coat, fiberglass, filler, metal, paint, plastic, putty and SMC. Open coat construction means the abrasive grains on this abrasive sheet are placed with space between them to help evacuate sanding dust and other debris to avoid clogging the cutting edge of the grains. The load-resistant coating on the abrasive grains also allows the sheet to continue cutting even when sanding paints, fillers, putties and other materials that would otherwise clog the sheet and hinder sanding ability.
