This trim masking tape lifts and protects trim moldings during auto body masking, eliminating overspray and visible paint edges. A rigid band along one edge slips gently behind the molding, lifting it slightly from the body. Paint flows under the molding while its exterior stays masked for a professional, finished paint job without removing or replacing the moldings or rework for paint lines. This tape is designed for masking around flush mount windshields and back glass, side moldings, inset door handles and tail light assemblies, as well as sidelight and headlight units. The tape features a hard band along its edge that slips quickly and easily between trim moldings and auto body surfaces. The translucent liner on the adhesive side is removed and the tape is folded over and adhered.
