This attachment tape is just .03 inch (.76 mm) thick, making it excellent for flush, streamlined and permanent application of lightweight auto trim and moldings. This 1/2 inch wide OEM-approved tape incorporates a strong yet conformable closed-cell acrylic foam with high performance acrylic adhesive on both sides. This adhesive resists plasticizers and delivers high peel and shear adhesion. The viscoelastic foam core conforms well even to complex geometries. It is engineered for stress relaxation when exposed to high stress loads, and maintains bond-line aesthetics under normal stress loads.
