Current Limiting Feature: Large surges from inverters / engine starting can weld the arc shut on normal voltage sensitive relays or signal fed relays. This destroys the relay and ends the battery bank isolation. The CVSR dissipates the surge through the PTC fuses on the top of the unit. The surge current energy is dissipated in the form of heat. Once the surge subsides the relay will resume normal operation unhindered and undamaged. Automatically detects whether your system is 12V or 24V.
