3M Unitized Wheel Mandrel 990, Plastic, 1-3/4' Length, 1' Outside Flange Diameter can be used with high speeds or for easy loading unitized wheels. This product features a shaft attachment. Designed to attach to a Scotch-Brite brand unitized wheel or a radial bristle disc to a rotary tool to accomplish edge deburring and finishing applications. It’s small size allows access to small workpieces. The shaft is inserted into the tool and the wheel fits onto the tip which is then attached with the appropriate cap. This enables the abrasive product to be secure during high-speed applications. The silver cap will secure products that are 1/8 Inch to 1/4 Inch thick. While the black cap will secure products that are 1/4 Inch to 1/2 Inch thick. The product’s max RPM is 25,100.
